Packaging & Recycling
Whenever possible, we use renewable paper packaging. Where plastic is unavoidable for food safety, we have implemented a recycling system with our partner Saubermacher. Washed packaging is carefully recycled or disposed of professionally.

Minimizing food waste
Through precise, data-driven, and needs-based planning, we ensure that our deliveries exactly meet the requirements. If any food remains unused, it is donated to charitable organizations such as Caritas.

We offer exclusively high-quality food products from top-tier Austrian partners – with organic ingredients, regional meat, and no preservatives. Quality and regional sourcing are our top priorities.

In Austria, 157,647 tons of food are thrown away every year – that's about 18.9 kg per person. Schrankerl aims to counteract this with data-driven planning.

Packaging plays a crucial role in quality and freshness. We rely on renewable paper packaging and have implemented a recycling system with a cleaning agent for unavoidable plastic.
